It's not about the most expensive — it's about what lasts.

A few friends say they don't buy a thing without asking me first. These are the devices that proved themselves over time, tested across 200+ videos.

Got an S21 FE, an S23 Ultra — or even an S8?

Plug it into HDMI and find out what it can still do. Revya TV is a TV interface you drive from across the room with a remote — arrows, OK and back, from the couch. The Revya app does the prep from your computer, over the cable — free, for Windows, macOS and Linux.

How I pick what I recommend

Buying the same thing twice because the first one didn't last is, all things considered, the same as paying double up front. Knowing how to buy — even the simple stuff — has never been this modern.

First

Buy to keep, not to throw away

I look for items that last long enough to pay for themselves, with low upkeep. That's been the rule since the very first product. And when a device ages out, reusing it instead of tossing it is part of the same idea — I gathered what you can do in what to do with an old Android phone.

Second

Cheap that breaks ends up expensive

The bottom-shelf model saves you money today and charges you tomorrow, when you buy the second one. Save a little longer and get the better one once — you spend less and get annoyed less.

Third

Deal-hunting on AliExpress

Even with fees and shipping time, AliExpress is still one of the best ways to try new products without overpaying — with far more variety than local retail. Read the reviews, check the ratings, and it pays off.

A personal, hand-picked selection.

These are the devices that go everywhere with me — the ones that proved themselves over time. The list grows slowly, on purpose.

From speakers and earbuds to chargers, smartwatches and USB-C hubs. Explore by section — each one has its own page.
